The NANS Online Services Portal is a digital platform designed to provide students, members, and stakeholders with easy access to NANS-related services, information, and engagement tools. It offers features such as the Members Directory, Group Directory, Decision Archives, and Online Membership Registration.
2. Who can use the portal?
The portal is open to:
- Current students of Nigerian tertiary institutions
- Recognized NANS officials at institutional, zonal, and national levels
- NANS alumni and observers
- Government, media, and education stakeholders with verified access
3. What services are available on the portal?
- Information Hub – Official updates, leadership profiles, NANS structure, and recent announcements
- Members Directory – A searchable list of verified student representatives, SUG executives, and NANS officials
- Group Directory – Listings of recognized student unions, campus chapters, zonal bodies, and special interest groups
- Decisions & Resolutions – Digital archive of congress decisions, communiqués, policy papers, and executive directives
- Join NANS – Online application and verification for new members
4. How do I join NANS through the portal?
Visit the “Join NANS” section, fill out the membership form with your details (name, institution, matric number, email, and phone number), and submit. Your application will be verified through your campus coordinator or institutional NANS representative.
5. Is my information safe on this platform?

6. How do I access the Members or Group Directory?
You must be a verified user. Once logged in, go to the “Directories” section and use filters to search by name, institution, zone, or position. Certain details (like email and phone numbers) may be restricted to verified NANS officials only.

Yes. The “Decisions of NANS” section archives key national and zonal resolutions, convention outcomes, policy statements, and communiqués. You can browse or download these documents by date or category.
8. I’m an alumni or a former NANS leader — can I access the portal?
Yes, we welcome alumni and former officials. You can request alumni access by contacting the Secretariat or filling out the special form on the portal under “Alumni Registration.”
9. What if I find incorrect information on the portal?
Please report inaccuracies through the “Feedback & Support” link or email support@nans.org.ng. We’ll review and update verified errors promptly.
10. Is there a mobile version of the portal?
Yes, the portal is mobile-responsive and works on all devices. A dedicated mobile app is currently under development for even easier access.
